We have various word game threads so how about a club trivia quiz.

I will start off with three questions but feel free to add more later.

    1) Who was manager of Barcelona when Watford played them?

    2) What was Graham Taylor's biggest defeat at the Vic?

    3) Which former Watford player went on to captain England?

Could be that. Could be that they were only a youth team player. Could be a number of things. I don't want to give away too much

I don't think that Arthur played for Watford, though he was born and died in Watford. He would certainly have got more caps if it hadn't been for the First World War, but then I wouldn't have been around to ask these questions if it hadn't been for the First World War.

Arthur played for Spurs. I wonder who he would have supported in the tie coming up?

Sorry AK but you may be right about David James. He was given the captain's armband after the official captain was substituted. Aparently this does not put him in the list of captains but it is good enough for this quiz (and a lesson for future question setters as well as me!).

I was actually thinking of Mike Gatting who was on Watford's books as a youngster. I also spent ages checking that Fred Titmus had never captained England. He had also been on our books. To be honest I didn't think about David James.

    This leaves one question

Yes. I don't think GT suffered a bigger defeat at the Vic.

Well done to you Cologne and AK.

So now someone else set some questions

Well done cologne - another one is Tamas Priskin as he was born in the Czech Republic but I decided not to include him in the 5.
