Every since he has been put CDM he has been ****. He isn't one. Turns the ball over too much with half turns. Can not tackle and is weak. I don't give a toss about running into space to cut passing angles.
No one can be a CDM if they can not tackle or win duels. Not sure why we are trying to shoehorn him to be one. Linking play is part of the role but the other half he is utterly terrible at
Neil is just out of form, he's a very talented lad. The decision to make him captain baffles me still though, he makes too many immature and impulsive decisions.
So frustrating that man. So comfortable, would have been a good point on the road and Neil gifts them that for absolutely no reason. Thought we were outstanding second half too
The genie is out the bottle, but there's more than just Neil who haven't played well today. Of all the players to give away a penalty only 09 would get more abuse

I think ironically it was because the club expected O’Nien to not be an obvious starter but Neil to be one. And ironically it’s gone the other way.
