My conclusion = we are lightyears off both of these sides! Enjoyable football, both trying to play the ball around in the right way too. Watford look a little bit like us under Royle, quality going forwards wobbly at the back!
I agree Westlake. I think we have fallen off the pace. We have got worse as a footballing side while the top clubs are as good as bottom half Prem teams now. Our success last season was down to a brutal defence. I dont think there's a huge gulf in playing staff but when you go through the list of managers we're up against: Redknapp, Zola, McDermott, Adkins - the Championship is running away from us a bit now.
