when we are on sky and we arnt down the pub, ask someone you know for their skyplayer user/password. thats what i use to watch football as its better quality and takes up less bandwidth

Hey everyone, first time poster! Can't remember if I had a profile on 606, was more of a "lurker" to be honest.

I'm now studying in Newcastle full time and so far I've only missed a couple of home games (funnily the ones where city have won convincingly...), but since I am but a poor student away games are impossible. I occasionally can get the odd stream if City are on telly but otherwise I'm left to listening on Blunderside online (if they don't have Grimsby or the Scunts on it, which is like 80% of the time) and KCFM's stream just doesn't work and when it does they don't seem to be covering the game!

Anyway, just wondering what the tiger nation does to get streams of games? I'm pretty tech-savvy but all I seem to find bar myp2p.eu are websites requiring you to log in and advertising Albanian satellite. Hell, half the pubs in town seemed to be able to get all the games in our premier league seasons so I'm sure I can!

Please don't leave me listening to Grimsby v Histon with the BBC Videprinter constantly refreshing :D

If you can afford 4 pounds a month subscribe to Tiger Player on the OWS site. They have highlights of all games the same day and the full game video with commentary on by Tuesday.

full game video is pretty good, very good, apart from sky football first last season we rarely got to see the full 90 minutes apart from bad streams. the commentarys naff but its a good watch, especially after the game when you can pay attention, seems a totally different game.

How do you find out your sky player username/password? My mum and dad have sky, so i'm guessing they must be able to get sky player, but they're not very good with technology...

I think that advice is for people who don't have Sky Sports but know people who do. As far as I know you need to have Sky Sports in your subscription to watch it on Player, in which case if you're using your parents' you'd just watch it on the telly wouldn't you?
