Don Henley was brilliant on vocals but Russell Slade has taken it to another level on the pitch. After what some saw as a "purple patch" (looks more like pale lilac now) between the Wolves away game in January and taking 4 points from Derby and Burnley a fortnight back, the club under this current management has reverted to type. Even in that optimistic period when "hope" became something tangible rather than alcohol induced pipedreams we suffered some numbing results throwing away points with draws to the likes of Rotherham, Charlton and MK Dons. This surely wasn't good enough at the time and the last three results have surely killed off any semblance of belief that Slade can do it for this club. He is simply not good enough to take us out of this division at the right end. Let alone not starting Zohore - something most on here were screaming for - not bringing him on much earlier last night was a sign of a man out of touch with what's required to win a game. The sooner Vincent Tan starts listening to his fellow directors (allegedly) and the groundswell of opinion of those who watch the game over here the better. Slade must be replaced close season and give the new guy sufficient time to build something for next year otherwise I fear we'll see more of the same again.
