The Wasps are moving to Coventry. From a financial viewpoint isn't that £650k a year we won't be getting now? How will that affect our bank balance and ability to pay wages etc?

from what I hear it shoudnt effect us too much but im not convinced, and I think if the offer of some other tenants came up the club should look to take it.

Incidentally why are LONDON wasps allowed to move to Coventry? if that happened in football there would be uproar!

They were going to Birmingham and call themselves the Bees. Now they'll have to call themselves the Cees <whistle>

Attendances for WWFC have gone down since Wasps moved to Adams Park as a lot of fans couldn't afford to watch both teame, surely now with the pesky lodgers moving to Coventry more fans will come to watch the football as i can't see many going to Coventry every fortnight. More fans means more money for Wycombe so it should all be good.

That did strike me as a distinct possibility mowgli, unless rugby fans don't like football (I certainly wouldn't pay to watch rugby). 650k divided by 23 home games = £28261 per game. At (say) £15 per head that's 1884 additional spectators to compensate for loss of rental.

That's if they pay rent Ron as nobody seems to know the full facts as there's very little info from WWFC on this. And when they go our pitch will be much better noy having the egg chasers churning it up.

The chairman knows the amount and it was the figure quoted at the time of the stadium farce. I remember it well.
