It was but why does the Hull Daily Mail have to reprint it as though its fact? Todays HDM back page was a disgrace.

Where has the HDM said anything about it?

I haven't seen it, but I reckon they'll have stuck it in the Hull Daily Mail newspaper and HDM website?

Fulham will reportedly offer Steve Brucea lucrative contract this summer to take the club back to the Premier League.

According to The People, the Cottagers' billionaire owner Shahid Khan is trying to tempt Bruce away from Hull City with a package worth £15m.

It is thought that Khan would offer Bruce £3m-per-year, which would include a £2m promotion bonus.

Khan is said to view the ex-Wigan Athletic and Sunderland boss as having the right credentials to return the West London club to the top flight.

They'd have done well to reprint it in today's HDM, according to the page on the Mirror website they only published it 90 minutes ago themselves.

Nice compliment. More than likely made up, but hard to disagree, if you were the Fulham owner, he'd be a good bet for what he wants to achieve, and at 15m potentially, over a few years, a good investment.

If he likely to want to go down there? I suspect not.

I can't see this happening at all, maybe in summer but not now. he has a good relationship with Allam and tbh he would of been sacked by any other club by now! ....the £15m does sound good but I just don't see it

Think a lot will depend on whether we remain in the Prem or get relegated, it may be if we go down Allam will give his blessing to seeing Brucie leave thinking that a wind of change may be required. £15 mil is a hell of a lure for a guy who has been in the business for some considerable years and who will never get the chance to manage one of the `bigger` clubs.

It wasn't the latest 'Bruce might leave ' story I was referring to. It was last weeks one about City supposedly interested in Bolton's Neil Lennon to replace Bruce. An headline story that had no foundation at all and contained nothing that was actually factual.
HDM have turned into a 'Steve Bruce not worried about all the talk of the sack' in yesterdays edition of the Billy Liar. Headlined with it alongside the usual ' HKR are great.......expecting record crowd ( one over 10,000)........ new season starts and HKR are going to win some games......etc' and ' Hull FC are even better and a new season starts and they are going to win some games as well.......etc'
One negative load of ****e, two pumped up 'RL is great' positive articles. One local newspaper.
    Only in Hull.

A horrible premonition. More likely to happen if both Burnley and us stay up.

    That or Phelan.

I used to think he was a right Dick, Dyche. He's come across well this season though and obviously done a decent job.
