wasabi , or should I say WASABI ! , anyone ever tried it ; its japanese ( I think ) ...might just be the hottest thing Ive ever eaten ; kind of makes you sweat , lips go numb with the spice and theres a kind of, erm," sucking a fishermens friend" type effect. toilet roll into the fridge and some coldies to wash it down bet it would be just the ticket if you had man-flu.
I love wasabi, first time i ate it I had no idea what it was and I near burned out my nose and mouth, I love it. I'm not keen on red hot curry but there is a real taste to wasabe that I adore, I use it on toast and cheese spread thin or water it down with some Soy sauce and use it for dipping the Sushimi in.
I remember watching the boyos from Dirty Sanchez snort it - the boyo was in absolute clip order afterwards
ps It's a horseradish not a mustard. You can buy it in a small tube in Delicatessens or Chinese Supermarkets.
