I don't suppose the home fans were exactly jubilant at the news that Pepe had agreed to join Bayern in the Summer, as it effectively means that Coco is likely to be in charge for at least the whole of next season. No point sacking him, when there is no "big name" for Mad Dog to appoint. Surely even he, as mad as he evidently is, must reaslise that he couldn't simple keep on hiring the world's top managers, and then sacking them after only a couple of seasons, no matter that they won you cups and titles. He surely must know that all that has now stopped, and that top managers simply won't take the risk in trying to work with him. He really is like a mad Roman emperor, who kills you if he doesn't like you, and then kills you if he loves you. I think you fans have got to wake up to the fact that you simply are not going to have any kind of stability at your club until the Russian is gone.
You seem like a bright bloke so name me all the teams that have won more trophies,CL/Prem/FA Cup/League Cup,than us since Roman and his instability took over. That is true however....I think we've been able to get away with the manager merry go round whilst we've had a core of world class players and leaders in the spine of the team to get us through tricky periods. Cech, Cole, Lamps, Terry, Drogba. Now they have either left, injury prone, soon to be leaving etc I'm not sure we will get away with it anymore, especially with FFP to be factored in too. We need some stability, a good hungry manager and some faith in the youth players we've spent millions to aquire/train.
