Well tomorrow we will find out, blackburn is one of the teams we need at least a draw from at home to guage if we are good enough. if we won all our home games and lost all our away games I suppose in a perverse way I would be happy... 69 points. It would mean Derek only had one problem with the team, to sort out how to draw half the losses and get us into the playoff's. realistically though from 46 games we need to win 23 say 2/3rds of the home ones and 1/3rd of the away say 15 home and 8 away thats 69 points. I cant believe a team hoping to be better than bottom 12 would want to lose more than 5 at home another 3 points of the 15 remaining games away a result against the bottom 12 ( wins and draws ) would be another 4 points so would 76 points = playoffs. I dont know what season it was but we played 42 won 14 drew 14 lost 14? might have even been other coincidences like finished 14th same goals for and against etc etc etc A win would be brilliant, a draw acceptable a loss not the end of the season...... coyr..no ....C O Y REDZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Personnally no the rest wasnt worth it. To have a long break in the summer with no football. Then we have a few games and another break. As for the club. I guess it gives time for the new players to gel
Not had much time over the past couple of weeks how many if any of our squad were on unternational duty ?
3 and it does need it because a lot of teams have international players in them so it would be unfair on them to have to play without some of their best players and as we wouldn't of had Cunningham we would be struggling on the left hand side
