....................and happened to see a few of the tabloid rags on the shelves. Not been watching much news lately but I happened to see they have produced a photofit picture of the alleged Maddie kidnapper. How did all this come about? Or is it just further nonsense?

I really hope Madeline is alive and well and I feel desperately sorry for her but I am getting fed up with the attention given to this case because the parents are "well to do".

If this was a couple of workshy malingering smackheads from junkiesville Edinburgh no-one would be giving a ****.

Hundreds of children go missing every year.

Have the McCanns ever come out and admitted that part of the blame lies at their door for leaving their kids alone in an appartment while they went out to get pissed?

I think the worst bit about that is the fact that if anyone does raise that point they get treated so badly by the family and media that they may as well have taken the child themselves.

 

I feel sorry for them, can't imagine parents losing a child ...

However, they went on holiday with their kids and thought it was approriate to leave them unattended in a room they couldn't see!

Even better televise her saying to her parents "why did you leave us alone". I think all of us, whether parents or not, can empathise with their dilemma but as Bealey says ultimately they are responsible for her disappearance.

Christ, I lost count of the number of meals out that were ruined by the kids but that's family life for you. You take the good with the bad.

I feel sorry for the wean that went missing, no the selfish **** parents that ditched her for a booze-up.

 

If you take kids out for dinner at night time it looks bad, most bars have a 7pm cut off but in Portugal & Spain everyone is out until after 12pm eating with their children.
I would never leave kids alone to go out on the piss , that in itself should be neglect.

There is no denying that had they been looking after their kids as they should it would not have happened.
