Well as they didn't even mention it on motd then it wasn't a contentious point.....so it must have been out of play. ..
All MOTD pundits focused on us going down, but agree with Ramsey 80min & onwards something happens to our defence.
They could not show it going out of play on wherever the TV pictures I saw were coming from - the ball touched the goal line, in play, but they didn't have decent video showing if it had gone out of play or not, before it touched the line. Fer took it very nicely.
That's what it looked like from my perspective - for a moment I really thought that we had got off to a rather fortuitous flying start, which we can chalk it up as another one of our "nearly" moments this season.
It was in. Watched that time after time from the screen replay and the whole ball never was off the line. We were robbed as clearly as it was
You may or may not have noticed but the media ****ing hate us. The Daily Mail (staffed by Chelsea supporting ****s) espescially! Hell MOTD even wanted Aguero's handball goal against us to be voted Goal Of The Month! They probably didn't highlight it because all the evidence was inconclusive!
MOTD did show it as part of their "highlights" but the angle didn't allow a definitive judgement. Part of me would have liked to have played the victim of yet another injustice but, to be honest, I thought it was probably out of play.
So surely the advantage goes to the attacking team then , quite frankly it's all a load of bent bolloks
Had it been a liverpool corner then I'm sure it would have been allowed but then I'm just cynical. .... Same way Ned was booked for a nothing challenge that resulted in the penalty but skertal is allowed to shove fer into the crowd and they get a throw in... plus lovren takes dunne out when challenging their keeper and play is waived on.... Sorry bit of a ramble.....Couldn't tell if it was out or not. ...
