Was it the players or was it the manager?

85 minutes gone and 3-0 up just shows what a difference the manager makes. O'Neil for me was far too soft on the players and now PDC seems to have them playing for their futures. What do you think?

Think its a bit of both. PDC has them beliving in themselves, something ONeill wasnt doing.

MON no longer believed in the players and they knew it.

More of the same please PDC

I think any Sunderlaand supporter will admit to seeing a vast improvement since PDC came 2 weeks ago, even Larsson looked good today.

The manager imo, let him spend a little, wheel and deal and then let him work with the squad.

I cannot believe he would tolerate heads dropping like MON seemed to.

The difference is huge. 2 weeks ago we looked buried. The last 2 performances have been so much better. Awesome and really looking forward to work tomorrow!!

    Now dinnit get carried away.
Seriously he was better but free kicks and corners were poor.
Still think PDC is the reason. passion is infectious and I think the players believe in themselves again and know they are too good to go down.

I spotted PDC telling Seb what to do on numerous occasions. :p

With the players we have they should have been more than capable of having us higher up the table.
So I would still go half players and half manager.

You're having a laugh arent ya? As a centre midfielder he neither helps the defence or the attack. Everything went past him and his set pieces were atrocious and have been all season. Larsson and McClean were the 2 worst players on the park today.

Chuffed the rest of them were up to scratch and we won 3-0. FTM

it's the circumstances. it's been a long season, injuries and tiredness, players are knackered, some of them are ****e, unlucky to be on the end of some rare finishing and to have a valid goal ruled out, bigger picture being a lack of money being spent on top new players. We should have enough to limp across the finish line thoiugh.
