Was Duncan Edwards overated

I never saw Edwards play and I am sure he was a great player. When i hear people talking him up as the greatest player of all time ,even though he died at 21, i find that over the top. So for anyone who was old enough to have seen him play . How good was he and what sort of attributes did he possess as a player?.

 

As the Munich Air Disaster was over 55 years ago, not too many people on here would have seen him play ( not even Obi ) so it's hard to comment on what we personally thought. From what was said about him though he was a world class player, as were most of the Busby Babes as they were known.

He actually survived the crash, but died in hospital 15 days later. A battler to the end.

All I can think is someone suggested posting on the board of the worlds best team and he thought NUFC.
