Were any of the fans on here part of this discussion, if so what we're the discussions about and did it sound like an honest plan and not some tinpots trying to make some money out of our fan base and popularity. To be honest I'd love for a chance to get Gfh out of our club and if it's our fans all for the better.

I wasn't part of it, but, at this moment in time I suspect it's a ploy for Farnan to get his foot in door.

He's already joined the Leeds Ladies in some capacity, so I'm not in the mood to trust him at moment.

He's a businessman, first and foremost, businessmen are in it for profit making, or, to do what Bates and GFH did to LUFC. Personally, I think Bates told GFH how to scam the club and GFH were only in it for the short term any way.

I'm more than happy with Cellino, and maybe Farnan is looking down the track but, at moment it seems Farnan ain't got the finances to run our club properly.

    Personally,

I think the FL/FA should make it illegal for any owner to asset strip a club and, investment only in the club with no loans at high interest rates; and certainly no huge payments to boardroom members after they sell the club.

When you buy a club, it should be for the long haul and not a short profit making period, so, the FL/FA can make a minimum number of years that the new buyer must own the club for.

I'm all for the fans having a percentage ownership of the club to stop profiteers like Bates and GFH, as long as the representatives can understand and follow the jargon and gibberish that goes on in boardroom meetings.

LL, completely agree with you mate. In business directors salaries are based on long term goals and they are owned by shareholders that want gains over long terms( or short term by selling for a profit). It seems in football it's the last big pillaging ground. No corporate governance needed(Sep Blatter at the top) and too much money involved and too many ppl high up that control(hmm him again) that can keep on milking it. It's ****ing crazy and I honestly don't know how it goes on. Everybody moans about the banks being regulated because they take our money but what do these ****s do. LTIPs for football owners otherwise **** off only way to go.

Beware of Farnan and Gary Cooper bearing gifts,
where Fananan leads Verity is never far behind.
If they get near the club, the days of bates and Harvey will look like the good old days.
Zero money, zero clue but lots and lots of PR.

Farnan just another potless chancer with no intention of spending any of his own cash.plans are to cobble together fans business associates into an unmanageable consortium

    Was he given an alternative?
Not from the rumours I heard.

Big mates with Farnan and both heavily involved with the ladies team..

Pearson is willing to come in without verity and Farnan, he has some money and a much smaller group of investors with funds...,

Red bull are the real players though.

I think Red Bull may be the only ones that could afford to make us great again. But it may mean losing a piece of our soul.

How much of it have we left Parnee. We're jointly owned by Middle eastern Italian consortium, our ground by someone in Virgin Islands or somewhere and trying ground by a Manchester builder. I don't think there's much to lose. And even if we do, I'm willing to make the sacrifice to see a proper football team in the famous white strip instead of the junk we've had for a decade

Fair point Eire, your probably right. I think i'd take it if it meant seeing good football again. Its certainly not doing City any harm
