http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/852f84ea#/852f84ea/18 I find this rather encouraging to see in the official Ealing Magazine. Seems like progressing nicely which remains very good news for the club. Just need that elusive win and we will continue the upward journey.
Encouraging, but **** me this is slow going. No wonder we are struggling to drag ourselves out of recession if people who want to spend money and create jobs are subject to this endless bureaucracy. It's taking me forever to get permission for a Velux window which is not visible from the street and overlooks no other properties. It seems the cuts haven't reached the planning department of the local council as we take this Byzantine, Kafkaesque journey where there is always someone else to talk to. How I long for the days when anybody could build anything they want anywhere (except travellers of course) which gave us such architectural marvels as Coventry and Gateshead.
