First time this season, he has not fulfilled his obligation to do an interview with Yorkie Radio. Probably saying his goodbyes to the tea lady and on the blower to GFH. Goodbye Colin. For a season that was meant to be going full on for promotion, you blew it in the biggest possible way - I would not be surprised if we lost every game from now and were relegated. These playwers are defalted and playing like inept, petulant, talentless strangers. Relegation would put the wind up GFH. And all the poor sods who have been daft enough to buy their STs for next year already. But it would be a better scenario for bringing in all our kids - one or two (three?) seasons in League 1, building their trade, and then doing a double promotion. Sadly, I think we will scrape through this year, and be back exactly where we currently are. Going nowhere, and losing our best (sic! - oxymoron) players for little, and bringing in players who won't play/are unable to play proper football.
He's done his interview, said he's ready to step aside. Expect a caretaker by next game. Could expect to see a team that's no longer being dragged down by his "I don't want to be here" attitude, could see a few youth being brought through. We'll see what happens.
He has just had his interview, and pretty much confirmed he's stepping down and can't see himself being in charge on Saturday.
Good. Difference between now and last time is having a caretaker in charge is the RIGHT decision. Especially since Redfearn will use the youth players we've got. Expect to see Poleon getting another run out.
Warnock admits that he won’t be in charge for the next game and suggesting the club should appoint an interim manager immediately.
Was brilliant, got brought off in 56th minute but by all accounts he did really well, set up the move that saw Green hit the bar and was generally involved in the centre of midfield. Looked very promising.
Phil Hay ‏@PhilHayYEP15s Warnock hasn't resigned but he's due to speak to GFH C's David Haigh and Salem Patel shortly. He'll advise them to put NR and GW in charge.
Did Phil Hay happen to mention that Mark Hughes was watching the game from an East Stand box.......... Apparently he was spotted leaving five minutes before the end.
Every cloud has a silver lining, & if today's debarcle means Warnock's gone, Poleon & Dawson start on Saturday with Ross & Morison playing as well, we might just see a better & more committed performance. Hope so, as I've got a ticket for the Charlton match.
Listen to interview. Checked for viruses, its fine. http://m.soundcloud.com/back2basics/colin-quits-leeds
Why has my title been changed? I didn't write "Warnock's gone" and I know that some people will slate me for being premature. Not that such an accusation has ever been levelled at me before... A bit of a pisser really. At 7.57, Eddie and Thom state that NW wiull not be giving an interview. As it was the only thing I was waiting for, I turned the radio off. I'm never going to trust them again! lol
It will confirm for me that Bates is GFH. Talking of Bates can you imagine the look on the smug old twats face as he hears the result, and possible if not probable implications for next year
