He'd still have taken us down but at least our manager had eyebrows.

Glad to hear it mate. See, wasn't so hard was it.

Maybe you won't feel the need to bleat about it for the entirety of next season now. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Good on you Rooch, you've banged about him for long enough and he's taken Cardiff up.
Would be have saved us ? undoubtedly.
Someone on Radio 5 Live were saying he'll get sacked after 10 games next season cause he can't hack it in the big league.
You've just got to love football and it's opinions.

As a football personality I cannot stomach him but his record in the championship is the best.
Would I have wanted him as our manager then the answer is no, would we still be in the championship with him in charge then definitely yes.
    It's all about opinions.

One thing about Warnock is that when things go tits up they really go tits up and all of the toys come out of the pram and everything. He’s a top championship manager. I’m not sure we’d be in the championship even with him simply because of the way the season has gone. Also he wasn’t available at the beginning of the season unless someone knows otherwise? He was Cardiff’s manager then and still is now. And anyone saying “he’d have left to come here if...” is deluded. We’re (sadly) not a big draw for a manager with zero cash or success. Hopefully the new regime can sort that

I agree with this, but fair play the job he’s done getting them up and keeping them there all season has been incredible.

His best work yet fair play to him.

He's a good manager at his level. No getting around that. I'd take a less proven manager for not a massive **** though.

And 17th in November. The league is 46 games not 24. If we'd ended the season after 24 games we'd have gone up as well.
    Woulda, coulda, shoulda.
    The mantra of all failings.
They must be favourites for the playoffs though.

Whoever is top 2 after all games are played deserves to be there, simple as that.

I really hope Fulham get it through playoffs as they deserve it, but usually the team that misses out gets ****ed.

I agree on the 3rd place syndrome. All in the mind.
Not that Fulham have been on a bad run, but sneaking into 6th on a good run of form is bette than being 3rd on a poor run.
Some big hitters in the play off spots, all of whom have splashed the cash. There are going to be 3 unhappy owners come the end of the month.

I'm glad we avoided them as it's going to be tough for all 4 teams.
Villa have been there or there abouts all season and we all know the run Fulham are on. Middlesbrough built momentum at the end of the season and derby have turned a corner after an injury hit poor run.
Just glad we don' have to worry about it.:emoticon-0141-whew:
