Does Warnock really believe this or is all this talk just for Barton's benefit? Barton is a good player but there is a line of better younger ahead of him in the queue.
If this morning's papers are to be believed, Harry is being lined up to replace Capello sooner rather than later. If Barton starts putting in match-winning performances I reckon he's every chance of getting in the squad as Harry has always looked at ability above everything else.
