Apart from the £1.25 million on DJ Warnock has admitted he cant see any more money chaning hands on players. Everything else will be free transfers and loans. What a disgrace our owners are! What happened to the £10million kitty? And he said Flavio is dealing with Taarbats transfer and Warnock has no influence. Tarbs isnt going to Cornwall next week as Warnock cant risk building a system around him for him just to be sold a week before the season starts. Not good hearing in his interview at all!
Just heard this interview can't believe it, if the clown is dealing with transfers we ant got no hope, what happened to all the money for going up?
Who said that? At the moment Warnock seems to have been told that there is not more for players, but we don't know what will happen if they sell Taarabt and get £9m. It would be pointless Warnock working on the assumption that the money from the Taarabt deal will be available. It would be daft for him to put in lots of work on souinding out several players only to find that Adel's transfer hasn't gone through for some reason.
Again, not surprised. We're in for a season of slaughter and the sooner the likes of Bakes and Kiwi get used to it the better. If Warnock had any backbone he'd walk away now. Northy, can you get this interview linked up for us?
Given Taarabt was/is part of the current squad Bernie said we could keep, you'd have thought the revenue from the sale of a current player would be added to the £10m budget for team development... Appears Warnock is now suggesting otherwise. Hey ho! Reasons to be cheerful... one, two, three!
we don't deseve warnock here, there's a man who saved us from going down & then took the champoinship & all he gets back is a kick in the balls its a fu disgrace that he's not being given founds for this season, those prats in charge have got no care for the fans what so ever & treating warnock like ****e.
Does that mean if another club offers more than 1.25mil we will loose the DJ deal?? Or is it done and dusted?? Are we buying Webber as an alternative??
I don't know why everyone is complaining. Flav (famous for huge blundering fook ups) is dealing with the transfer and I a keeping me fingers crossed he carries on in the same if I can fook it up I will manner OH it wouldn't surprise me to see Taarabt back the season after next. very good championship player, unproven premier League...must be a muppet to turn this opportunity down.....although as it will bring him closer o faily i can see why heart rules over his head
Well, I do not want to take sides with any one of you real fan of the Hoops but I think Swords is right and I have been saying for a very long time! If some of you think I am a laugh then READ my past mail on this subject re; our great rich leaders! I know we all want to get to the end of the yellow brick road, but it is not going to happen! I know some of you like bakes8, god bless his hart will not look at and see facts regarding the mess that OUR club and I say our club as if it was not for us (more you then me now) this rich rubbish at the top would be on their way now cutting their losses. And lastly FORGET taarabt full time as he wants to go, and why not and this mob will want to sell to make more cash for themselves to get back some of the money they have put into the club! Thats it chaps, now start firing if you do not like the truth!! Off for a lunch time glass of good Portuguese wine and a small bottle of rum Jim Lad !! ha, ha! `Them that dies are the lucky ones!
Regarding Cambell the £1.25 has been accepted from what ive heard. The sticking point at the moment is his wages.
I think we need to remember that last season, the owners put it about, using NW as their mouthpiece, that there wasn't much money available. In doing this, they were educating other clubs and agents that QPR was not a cash cow. When money was needed for the odd transfer in the push for promotion, it seemed to be there, Smith, Routledge etc. So we may be seeing more of the same. Or, Eccles and Bluebottle may be running the club on skeleton rates waiting for a buyer. I can't call which. We just have to wait and watch.
Quite frankly I would rather have Briatore doing the selling. He wants to make as much money as he can. Adel wants out so get as much as you can for him. Why should Warnock be party to Adel's transfer? Are there any other managers in the league who get heavily involved in selling players? He/We knew that Adel was more than likely going to go if someone came up with the cash. If not now, then at Christmas.
