[QUOTE"Try and do it on the smallest transfer fee there's ever been. We'll be trying to survive on that."[/QUOTE]

Says it all. Warnock must be totally disillusioned.

I saw the interview this morning and I felt he was grimacing, not smiling. When Blackpool went up the board said they were not going to spend as they needed the money for the ground and training facilities and promotion allowed them to do that. Their honesty in my view endeared them to their fans and they all enjoyed the ride. No big hike in ticket prices either.
So why are our board here?
They promised european football as part of the plan! Where has that dream gone?
    What is their motivation?
Do they really expect to sell the club for more than 40 million. I can only think having a healthy balance sheet will aid that and with 60 mill from tv and 12 mill from taraabt maybe there lies all the answers.

I now feel like BE and FB are behaving like the two old gits in the film Trading Places and this is just one big game to them and the bet is for a pound.

And what are we doing about it?
    NOTHING

    Support the team...ALWAYS
Add more funds to those two? Not anymore.

It's a bit of a scandal really. If we sell Tarb and dont spend, AND Warnock keeps us up then It will be the biggest miracle of all time.

Agree with everything already said but the quote that stuck out for me is:

"Flavio Briatore is dealing with all the transfers at the moment. He's dealing with PSG and Adel himself," he told Sky Sports News.

Clearly shows he screwed up the Kyle Naughton deal as well, it looks like NW is distancing himself from the process or has simply been pushed to one side because "Flab is the oracle" on football!!!!

If Flavio is dealing with all transfers this must break the terms of
Neils contract as previously he has said he has 100% control of who comes in and out written into it !

Agree with everything said here really. The situation is an absolute disgrace. I only got to about 10 games last season, but, like many others, I'm just not prepared to give them a penny of my money next season. They can stick their £40 membership fee, I've had enough.

You can tell from warnock demeanour that he is getting increasingly fed up.the board have obviously gone back on their word.

No surprise in this - NW has got to keep telling it as it is, and not be a bland mouthpiece for the contemptuous Ecclestone and incompetent Briatore...I am beginning to think seriously they are asset-stripping before a sale.

Sorry Chaps, but I have been telling you all this since last season! Look back at my post if you want too! In one of my last posts I told you I had meet the little man at a party and said I did not like him, very rude to people (not me) His life is all making more money, also buying his daughters love!!

I just don't get it. This is simply suicidal. They will get no return on their investment if no buys them out and the team are relegation fodder. Or will they? The worst case scenario is that Ecclestone is simply going to accept this season's PL payments and ticket income as his pay back and then walk away.

I wonder if it's as simple as the Mittals saying - we'll pay £x and no more - and so the Goons syphon off what they can and then sell to the Mittals

Really is a complete ****ing nightmare!! I made a promise to my two sons that we would get season tickets this year if we went up. I wasn't going back on that promise so I've spent a shed-load of money that I can't really afford!!
Now, if the ****ers in charge were acting like most boards when a club goes up and were buying players with a view to staying up, I could live with it. BUT, as things stand, I'm only not cancelling because of the promise to my sons!!

Here lays the problem because once the guts has been ripped out of the club the Mittals will lose all interest very quickly they are business people too, why should they waste their money on a sinking ship?

We are going to be up to our necks in the ****:(

At this rate, all of us who at least gave the goons credit for saving us could be let down in the worst way - they get us relegated and leave us saddled with 40 mill debt (but probably hang onto the land asset under the stadium).

Can we really hope the Mittals love the club enough to save us after that?
