Just found this. I did hear rumours that he had said he would love to manage us one day but I thought that was just an urban myth. I also read his book (I’ve left it in our flat in Gibraltar and read a bit more each time we visit) - The quote is on the back and it reads something like When I die, I don’t want a minutes applause, I want a minute’s chanting ‘Warnock is a ****er…’ I had no idea that quote was aimed at ourselves!! I actually respect the bloke - the panto villain of football - who is even more ‘marmite’ than Lee Johnson. His rants are legendary but his achievements at this level are amazing and apparently I’ve been told that he is happy to make time to talk football with any supporter of any club - a real gent apparently. I live in South Glos mate, Warnock lives in Looe, I do have my little bolt hole in Perranporth which is quite close but far enough away not to be troubled by him...
