Was going to start a thread about 'Next Managerial Appointment'

Great to have Neal for another year - he's done a terrific job since taking over <ok>

Great news. It's probably in vain but I hope Bellars stays on and is tutored so that he can take over when the wise old master decides to take a back seat!

I genuinely hope that when he steps down as manager he stays on in some capacity. He has tans ear and would bring some much needed football nous to the board.
In the mean time I'm sure he'll ruffle a few feathers in the premier league if he gets us up.
Talking of feathers, Pep will be spitting them at the thought of two games against Colin.

    I love this line...

It is difficult to think of a manager who has better understood the DNA of Cardiff City.

    I agree 100%.

    2 year extension.
He can make a big difference to the fabric of the club in that time.
He's well on his way to overhauling the academy. A bit more community bonding and more success on the pitch will leave a legacy.

IF and it’s a big if and don’t shoot me down for tempting fate BUT this would be great news if he is going to be around.

Reason being that last time we were in PL the lack of football experience in management and in the club as a whole was as big a reason as any why City didn’t survive after a half decent start.

I would prefer a younger but experienced PL manager with NW and his cohorts still involved.

Anyway highly hypothetical as we may well be still in the championship.

Well, I guess it's the authors point of view. However, I don't think you can compare Warnock to Stam.

Exactly. Reading is Stam's first full management job and can't hold a candle to Warnock's past experience.

Author's point of view maybe, but obviously one tinged with bias and nothing to do with Stam at all - he's just using him to have a go.

Making a comparison between Stam and Warnock is madness. Tans offer will have been based not only on what he did at the end of last year and so far this, but on the fact he's saved clubs from the drop and got teams promoted on numerous occasions. Certainly not a one off.

I sense the taste of sour grapes from this pathetic attempt at journalism. Get back in your box sunshine and come out when you have something sensible to say.

Maybe that's why we like Warnock so much, because everybody else hate him.

Dear Lord, I've read plenty of one eyed rubbish from our near neighbours across the bridge (or on my side of the bridge depending on how you look at it), especially after last weekend, however, this trash trumps even them lot!!!

Definitely written just to act as click bait and nothing more.
