Always thought it was a strange appointment in the first place, his EPL track record is not the best.
If they've got any sense, they'd swallow a lot of pride and ask Pulis for forgiveness. Regarding Warnock, he's clearly a bit out of his depth in the Premier League. I mean, it's not as if Palace don't have some good players, yet he's still managed to oversee a fairly dramatic plummet. If not Pulis then who?
Tim Sherwood. Though I don't think they match his ambition. Palace board seems to want to do everything on the cheap, I would say they might dip down a league and take a championship manager but I doubt they'll consider paying compo.
The only other managers I can think of are Sherwood (as Hattie mentioned) and Pepe Mel. Oh, and Paolo Di Canio...
HARDLY A SHOCK. It did well for the PL to get past Xmas before the first manager was sacked. I expect a few more to go within the next 10 days especially with twitchy owners/chairman/ceo's. Plus the january transfer window is about to open as well. Pick one from Pearson - Irvine - Poyet to be the next one. I think that Harry and Lambert are safe-ish for now. Tim Sherwood looks like the early favourite for Palace.
He was only appointed because he was available. A transition manager if you will to buy time for the real appointment (unless he actually did well, then it all looked a masterstroke.)
