When I was a copper a guy approached me and told me he'd found a chimp wandering the streets, I told him the best thing to do was take it to the zoo. Next day I saw the same guy walking along the high street holding the chimp's hand. "I thought I told you to take that to the zoo" I said. "I did" he said, "Now I'm taking him to the pictures"
