sensible.........I wont ask you how it went tonight...........I've been trolling through PASOTI and ATD........boy oh boy......100% had enough of Fletcher....not the slightest hint of compassion for him........the big alarm for Brent was that another 1000 turnstyle clicks less tonight 5219......that's the only hope we have that Brent will say enough is enough,

Ok many might not be able to do two games in a week....so tonight would be mainly season tickets holders.

A quick look at the calender will bring to your attention that yesterday's game wasn't played on a Saturday afternoon but a Wednesday evening, rescheduled only recently and up against the Champions League.

Compared to mid-week games last season, when if memory serves me right we were below 5k at times, that isn't terribly significant.

However, this can't go on: Burton only had 2 shots on target, both scored and both from poor defending, by the sounds of it. We need to go back to whatever we were doing last season which got us lots of clean sheets that we aren't doing now.

We have 4 games before the end of the month, including 3 very tough ones. If we don't get a minimum of 7 or even 8 points and with the transfer window looming, Fletcher's position is going to untenable.

From somebody who saw. This was so predictable. Burton were nothing special and I am being kind. We were better than them for most of the match and once we scored went on to dominate for the next 20 minutes. But as per normal we failed to score again. Burton did nothing much at all except win a corner. Ball to back post, headed back into the middle and Cole stood there watching whilst it pinged about for a second or two and was then in the net. Second goal was just a cross into the middle. Cole flapped it straight out in front of him onto the head of one of their's and bingo it was 2 - 1. The heads went down and nothing much to shout about after from either side.

Fletcher made various substitutions but nothing that looked like working. Believe me when I say this was 3 points thrown away. The trouble is that this is becoming all to predictable. Burton were less than average on this showing yet still managed to score twice in two attempts. Cole was his usual liability in between the posts on crosses and the defence was static. Watching week in week out as I do it is painful that the same mistakes are being made over and over again. Make no mistake this is going to turn into a relegation battle some time very soon. It is all so depressing because the players, when they turn up and play show they can battle with a are as good or better than those in the opposition. I think they are capable of much better than this which leads me to believe that it is the leadership that is lacking.

We have played at home in midweek a few times now and competed with the Champions league on TV. You could see the size of the crowd was well down last night and in my opinion it has nothing whatsoever to do with others playing. The casual supporter has had enough of watching the side lose. It is as simple as that. This downward trend will continue and the only saving grace will come this weekend because we are playing the top of the league and they will bring a few. My son works with a number of floating pay on the day supporters. Five of them said they were not going last night because it wasn't worth £20 anymore. The number of floating voters he works with is five. If Brent can't see what the cause is then he must be blind and stupid. Lets see how much he cares now the numbers are dropping.
