I know what you mean it’s not your standard route. It was once a prestige position in an England team. One where you had to perform at a high level over a long period. There is no doubt our keepers since Seaman have meant the competition has deteriorated. However I have to confess I’m a fan of Pickford. He has an assuring calmness which I think helps the defence. He fully believes he is the best. A bit of arrogance in keepers is no bad thing. Plus he tries to play out properly. I don’t think his shot stopping is anything special which is a concern and he looks a bit reluctant on crosses sometimes, but generally he does most things well.

Shame he’s a Mackem of course but when it comes to England I simply want the best. It was what so pathetic about Mackems who thought Phillips should have played instead of Shearer. Give over there was a massive chasm in ability.

 

Unlucky for the Marra that gets the **** stained one.

What is it with Mackems and their short fuse?
They have nothing in the tool box apart from 'meet me for a fight'. Absolute arse clowns.
Interestingly, Nad's address seems to be on the NEWCASTLE Quayside so at least he retains a degree of sensibility.

 

The bit I liked was when someone said, about the fans replacing the seats... 'it's what they do in non league'..... hahahhahaha.
