    If I pray be so bold, most letters of resignation should, out of deference to one's bosses should start " Dear Sirs ".
    May I respectfully suggest you have a word with the many chaps on your board who excell, admittedly through several years of practise at such correspondence.

    Ah Jim, the good old leaving thread letter of resignation. We haven't seen one for a while, that might be because most of the mackems have already departed our board or because recent results have gone against them and they don't want to face up to us. There's always one or two that hang around though, just to add to the fun <cool>

    I think forum etiquette states that you only resign from your own team forum. For other teams there are two methods available - the involuntary ban, a method I think you are familiar with:biggrin:, or the voluntary (or Billy the Bastard) ban. The latter is mainly used to keep both his and Smug's Albertophobic posts in one location.

    Aye, with my involuntary ban their weasel mods didn't even have the balls to tell me why I had been banned. Shame, I could have been all over their board laughing my arse off at their pathetic inadequate fans and team. Oh, maybe they saw what was coming and banned me and Sammy in advance?

    And, incredibly, Smugless isn't banned from our board. I INSIST...<grr>
