You're not wrong there Sid, but I think it's circumstance because I can't believe for one second that useless, cabbage faced twonk could actually plan that far ....
Can't argue with that, JD. His history at NUFC is almost a mirror image of that at SAFC. Decent start, followed by a gradual decline. Watch out though, because that gradual decline got a bit steep at the end...
Hopefully we can terminate the steep decline (with extreme prejudice) but not feeling it's going to happen right now ... Fingers crossed this new bloke comes in, gives him a drugged pasty or bacon sarnie and quietly locks in the boot of his car until May
If results go against them tonight, will the Sunderland lads disappear from sight of this thread, as hath been noticed in the past?
We really should, but your form keeps any NE bragging rights pretty much equally non-existent. 5 in a row tonight, against Dorty Leeeeeeeeeeeds...?
Our form? We would have to lose a helluva lot more to sink to where you lot are. Why do think hardly any mackems come on this thread anymore? Although there's always one...and at the moment, that's you.
not sure why they were on sky but they were hanging on right up to the end against an Ipswich team that were reduced to 10 men from the 10th minute
Can't blame you guys for laughing. Get it while you can. Newcastle's last 11 games: P11 W0 D2 L9 (including a Brucie bonus of losing to Brentford in the LC). Sid James Park may not be in the 3rd tier, but you can see it from there...
It is a measure of just how **** you lot have been over the last five years that we can still laugh at you. Despite our own ****tiness.
Not convinced there's a reply to this peculiar comment, so I shall confine myself to hoping for a restoration of the derby next season. Bruce is certainly up to the challenge of relegation, so I hope we can oblige. In the meantime, here's your half-term report from the BBC to brighten up your day: Newcastle United Dismal, joyless and heading straight into big, big trouble unless something changes fast - but will it? No sign of unloved owner Mike Ashley going anywhere with much-derided manager Steve Bruce seemingly powerless to drag the Magpies out of their inertia. Bruce is in trouble but Ashley is so far unmoved and probably won't be until Premier League status is seriously threatened, which will be very soon on current evidence. Striker Callum Wilson has shown flashes but barely gets any service. Newcastle are without a win in 10 games and falling towards the relegation zone fast. Phil McNulty's pre-season prediction: 12th Newcastle's current position: 16th Half-term report card: Dreadful. If things do not improve Newcastle and Bruce will have a full-on relegation fight on their hands… if the manager survives.
My season review so far: We're ****ter than ****. As predicted. Bruce out. Charnley out. Ashley Out. Masks oot. #beelin'
My season review so far: Meh. Still, we're in the quarter finals of some obscure Pizza-related trophy, so another possible trip to Wembley and consequential disappointment beckons...
