id like to think our fans have played a part in what they have said so far. i just hope that our lot don't persuade them too hard that its for the good of the club over the next few hours with the guilt trip....... im afraid perusing players that never wanted to leave their club in the first place seems to be the way for your club and that can only lead to one thing, a player that has no commitment or passion for your club or your fans. i think there must literally be something in the water at fratton because allot of players get quite attached to the club for some unknown reason. life as a pompey fan is always entertaining to say the least and I'm sure there will be another twist before the night is over!

ward is a good solid performer not great by any means but very committed to the cause (although being a pompey fan probably helps!) he's only in his second season of professional football so a great prospect for the future much like pearce and henderson, just hope we have a future to give them....
i wouldn't count on it I've heard they would prefer a move to havant and waterlooville due to the superior atmosphere......
