This is great news.

Jack Wilshere has resumed full training with the Arsenal first-team squad.

The 20-year-old England international missed the whole of last season with a foot injury, but returned to full training on Thursday for the first time in more than a year.

Emmanuel Frimpong has also resumed full training this week, after injuring a cruciate ligament while on loan at Wolves in February.

I am actually really excited by the prospect of Santi Crazorla, Arteta and Jack Wilshere combining in our midfield. <ok>

    A) Ramsey was never as talented as Wilshere.

    b) Jack never had his leg snapped in two. I believe with Ramsey, there is still a mental issue after going trough such a horrific break.

    c) Vermaelen was out for a year or so and he came back and has gone on to be made captain of the club and has shown great form this season.

Before his leg break Ramsey was more highly rated than Wilshere.Don't forget Aaron was playing in the first team.Wilshere wasn't

He was a year older, though. When Wilshere broke through, he went straight into the first team and stayed there. To be honest, I could never see Ramsey producing the sort of performance Wilshere displayed against the likes of Barcelona. I rate Ramsey, but for me he is not as talented as Wilshere.

Arsène Wenger said: “We are so pleased that Jack is back in full training. It’s been 14 months and that’s a long time for someone at his age. It’s an eternity, but it’s great news.

"We have to give him a few training sessions to see how he copes and responds to it. That’s the delicate, sensitive stage - to choose when to bring him in and out. We’ll have to handle that day-by-day.

"We also have Emmanuel Frimpong who has returned to full training this week, which is great news as well. Emmanuel has also been out a long time, but is progressing well.”

Really hoping they both come back strong :)

No not at all, Wilshere has always been more talented than Ramsey. Ramsey was ahead for a short while because he was physically more developed.

I wouldn't swap him for any young midfielder in World football.(including Goetze, Hazard and Oscar)

If Diaby has a few more quality games, who will he replace?

If Aaron was English and Wilshere was Welsh you lot would all be saying Aaron was the better player <grr>

That is partly true when it comes to the media, but Wilshere is still the better player. <whistle>

Thats insaine. Aaron has never performed to the same level Wilshere has.
Not only that but Wilshere's best performances came against big teams (United,Chelsea and Barca).

I dont see how an Arsenal fan that's watched him regularly can think he's over-rated. At 18 he was already one of the best midfielders in the league.(Both Capello and Wenger where looking to build their teams around him)
Give him a few more years and he could well be amongst the very best in the World.

Normally I'm sceptical when it comes to hyping young players. Wait and see, I've never felt more confident about a young player at Arsenal.
