Simon Walton has been released from his contract........and has moved to Hartlepool.

Rumours were going around that he didn't seem to be involved in pre-season training.......not in pics etc now we know why.

Some will be pleased and some will not be........you either like him or not.

That's a bit of a surprise but I suspect his wage bill was pretty high for L2 so I understand it. Sensible will be gutted - not! <laugh>

I'm so gutted I could end up suicidal. Our best player and top scorer and we let him go what is this world coming to.

I am so pleased I could crush a grape. Our worst player with a big chip on his shoulder and attitude problem. Why did it take so long.

Go on you chose which one I mean

Maybe we can now afford to bring in one of those too dear to buy players that Fletcher had to say no to.........some extra dosh in his pocket.......we do need new faces in at least two important positions..........mid-field and of course a goal scorer.

Not having to listen to sensible moaning about Walton after every home game - bliss!

Don't worry Mrs lalala I'll find another one to pick on soon enough. Probably have a few to choose from. If I didn't moan you would think I was ill or something.

Can understand the criticism, but he has green blood now and I am sad to see him go. The petulant kid has turned into a true green and I for one wish him every bit of luck.

    This.

Hopefully though Fletcher has a midfield maestro/attacking midfield (which we desperately need) in his sights.

Sensible doesn't listen because he thinks you got the impression about Walton from those infernal newfangled social media. Now if you told him you got the information via a Marconigram, he might believe you.

I do listen. Honest I do. Whether I take any notice or agree is a completely different thing. I simply do not rate him. Sorry but that is the way I see him. He was petulent and a pain earning mega bucks that people like me could only dream of. Did he appreciate that? I'll answer that one and it is a big NO. Talk about throwing away a career. Ok in the end he stuck by the club but it was way too late for me. His performances were sketchy at best and he still has that little streak in him that comes out and gets him carded or sent off. Did he come to like being here and have some feelings for the club? Well maybe he did but pity he didn't show it at the start. I'm just not sorry he has gone and I cannot find an argument to change my mind I'm afraid. But, I accept it is all about opinion as with most things.

Walton says he is sorry to be leaving..........for someone who has been at Argyle for a reasonable amount of time.......I have one question.......why havn't you settled your family down in Plymouth.

He split with his girlfriend who is a "celebrity" (a title too loosely used) so their daughter travels between. Don't think drake circus is big enough for a celebrity wag!

Nothing wrong with Primart is there? Quality gear at an affordable price. I buy all the wife's clothes in there.
