Is he going mad?

Not at it here its just some of his comments the last 12 months have been quite crazy, for a guy who generally toes the party line & gives the bog standard interviews its baffling to watch.

He started off by saying Lloyds were now on the board at Rangers, something the bank & club denied

Not so long ago he was ommenting on Boyds contract............which Boyd had not been offered!!

The other week he said Fleck & Wilson had turned down deals as "their agents had promised them double the money down south"....only to backtrack a week later by insisting he "wasn't sure where these stories had come from", but then went on to add "Fleck is keen to resolve a new contract but Wilsons situation remains the same"???

Last night after getting through to the final of the CIS he starts going on about "Darker days for the club ahead......the debt will only get worse".

Is he just trying to be too honest to the fans after the bullshit of Murray & Bain? Is he spicing up a few stories? He's not got a contract so they're hardly going to sack him & bring anybody in so he can pretty much say what he likes, you think he's playing up to it a wee bit?

 

just lettin the fans know what he has to deal with

 

we really need to win the league this year, second is not an option.

Think he is just mouthing off under the circumstances he is under because he can. The man has no contract so he has nothing to lose.

By letting slip the situation he is basically saying to others come and sort it out?

AHe may also be trying to work his way out - who could blame him with the bollocks he's had to put up wtith. If his talking about whats really going on results in him getting the push then the fans will back him even though he has got what he wants - getting out of there.

Also its likely he'll go in the summer - so again by talking he'll be trying to lower expectations for his replacement or make others outside the club come in and take over it

 

GL i agree he doesnt need to worry about his future - but by the same token he wont want to be seen to be leaving you in the lurch. 90% of fans wont blame him for wanting out givebn the circs - but others will moan.

We'd be the same - both our sets of fansd have a very very fickle element

 

Then why say all this **** if he's so concerned about Rangers?

He told the media about Fleck & Wilsons deals........then said he's not sure how it became common knowledge & there was nothing in it....only to 2 minutes later confirm that Wilsons situation remains the same ie turned down the contract

I just don't get his plan of what he;s trying to acheive other than to confuse everyone....or he's losing his marbles.
