A real shame. Yet again concede first, get a player recklessly sent off, concede a late minute winning goal. Not forgetting a possible goal thatcwas declared offside and a penalty that could've been. Town sat back in the last 15 minutes and tried to absorb the pressure which again ultimately led the losing goal. However there seemed to be plenty of positives in terms of attacking play, so hopefully this will continue. It definitely looks like we'll be playing 442 or a combination of, next Tuesday.
Missed this one due to work but it seems a fairly familiar tale. We must get the right manager in but, with two home games coming up, I am not sure we can wait too long otherwise we will be well adrift by the time he starts to have an effect. I am a bit disappointed to see Bentley as the favourite as I think he has done OK (but nothing more) on a small budget. I would prefer a young coach on the way up like Edwards (and not just because like me he was born In Madeley) and perhaps GT could be persuaded to join the board to be a mentor. All the signs at the moment point to us having to rebuild in League 2 next year but, if that happens, at least we might win a few matches!
