Well s@@t ot bust time, as we try to pull back a two goal deficit on Tuesday night, no pressure on us as we will be massive underdogs to go through but the first goal will be key.
Saddlers have struggled at home this season although they did stuff us 3-0 earlier in the season.
A decent crowd expected on Tuesday all hoping for a Wembley trip as I said massive underdogs that we are would be fun to win. Keep Bradshaw away from the ball and we will have a chance.
Go on Grayson go for it we've nothing to lose.

A disappointing finish to a disappointing fornight. Curious decision by SG to match KD with Gally. I like both players, especially since Gally seems to have raised his game, but to they are not, in my opinion, the type of players to be matched as a strike force. KD is a number 9 who needs a number 10 but Gally is a number 8...in old terms! Leaving KD up by himself was a too cautious move by SG. Until he brought on Ebanks-Blake, NE had only 2 shots on goal! In the end NE had 6! Never mind! Walsall have never been to Wembley, so good luck to them. For NE, on to beat the Blades and to rough up Franchise United.

Yes, idiots. I doubt he is able to take NE to the Premiership but at this level, very few managers are as successful. He had the task to rebuild after Westley cleared out the squad of overpaid and underachieving Swho are nowhere now. The problem is that Garner is out and it is hard to attract a proven goalscorer at this level. Beckford and Ebanks-Blake are not match fit. If Pringle does come, that would be a scoup! And he is match fit to boot!

Only had two fully fit forwards last night Davies and Gally, SEN played his first 90 minutes for a year and understandingly was not risked for full 90 minutes, looking back we lost the tie two weeks ago

I think that probably SG is on the right track. People are complaining he played the percentage/long ball game on Tuesday but with only Davies fit what else could he do? Some suggest Jack Ryan hould have played as support. Is he aany good? If he is any good, why isn't he with United or L'pool? The problems with NE are not recent but go back to the mismanagment at board level after Baxi withdrew. TH has had to re-structure the whole club accoring to the new financial guideines: bring in GW to get rid of the dross and restore some stability, and then bring in SG to get NE into th next level by gradually bringing in afordable players with more than enthusiasm. The final step will be to get someone like Pulis to make silk purses out of sows' ears...and then Mourinho to take NE to the European Cup Final! The mess that NE was in has not yet been explained.

Still sorting out Irvine's spending spree has been a problem at one time the clubs were spending 130% of their income, so it will take time to turn around, also have to work within FFP rules set down by the league, could be worse.

I thought the problems lay at the feet of people above Irvine. Those involved apparently feathered their own nest and then went elsewhere and that club went belly up!
