Weale by a mile for me, Hector and Collins distant second.

    ....I'll second that!

....and take any points we can get.

    Poor Wrighty.....still seems off sorts

....and Bradshaw did a little bit to hold up play in his brief cameo; what did I say Atcham?

Wright looked truly dire, he managed to lose the ball every time he touched it. He'll get better, but right now is behind Taylor, Parry and Wildig for a spot on the wing. Bradshaw I think had three touches, once when he received the b all from a throw in and took it straight out; once when we had a counter and he beat a defender before falling over and once when he overhit a pass to Grandison.

thee cassn't score goals if these only brought on for 60 seconds. sounds as though we had an extremely lucky win today.

I wouldn't say we were extremely lucky - we relied on Weale hugely to keep us in it for the first 20 minutes and got our goal against the run of play, but controlled the game for the remainder of the second half and were also slightly better throughout the second half - don't forget Parry hit the bar from a lovely move.

lets not dress this up, we were bloody awful first half, GT had them in at half time. read them the riot act and they improved....skill wise we were very poor throughout the game,Wright was an embarrassment, but i hope we didn't have too many goalkeeping scouts at the ground today because Weale was absolutely outstanding, and i thought Hector played a massive part in keeping our sheet clean, but it goes to show if we put that extra effort in like we did after half time we can eek out results, couple that with a couple of quality signings and we could easily have a mid table finish.

I agree with pretty well everything said on here. Weale looked immense in goal and faced down the two players who had one-on-ones against him. Hector was pretty good but made his usual major blunder in the second half with Weale saving the day again. A big concern is our very slow start again (who is putting the Valium in the pre-match tea?) but I think we deserved it on the second half. Yes, we rode our luck a bit but stopping shots is what Weale is there for - a similar performance by Fon Williams for Tranmere a few weeks ago was a major factor in them avoiding defeat against us. Any sort of win (especially our first against Walsall for many a moon) at this point is very welcome and gives the table a much better look for us. Lets hope we can get Jacobson fit soon so Matty can slot back into midfield and also get a striker or two in to let us push on from this.

Weale, Hector and Summerfield all played well. Weale gets the vote though.

Grandison was so slow in the first half but did get into the game. Wildig looked lost at first when the formation changed from 451 to 442 with Parry roaming forward, but he also improved and did some good distribution of the ball and managed to retain it well at times.
