    No, not today's demolition.

    26th February 1938 at Fellowes Park in Football League Division 3 (South).

    Walsall 2 - 8 Bristol City

    Having just moved home, I don't know details of attendance and scorers as all books still in cardboard boxes.

    Rowles 3, Peters 2, Bourton, Brain & Brook where the scorers...only 4,368 where there.

    The next game v Cardiff City at home attracted 38,066.....we lost 0-1

    Just been trying to work out, apart from friendlies I don't think I've seen us score 8 in a game

    Waited outside til they opened the gates.
    Got in just at Flinty scored our 7th!
    Ended up right next to the dugout and saw all the celebrations really close up!

    Nobody would have been able to stop me participating in that! :)

    I believe they scored 11 or 13 in a F.A. Cup game against Chichester Town but that's not in the league.
