I've just seen on South Today that the first ever Walking Football Championship took place down in Brighton today. Brighton, Charlton, Palace and Pompey took part. For those who don't know, Walking Football, as the name implies, is football played by walking. Running is prohibited. Charlton fielded their first team for the event. Nobody noticed the difference. The event was won by Palace. Grrrrrr.
