Two city players one yellow card away from a one match ban...
Hull City duo Callum Elder and George Honeyman are walking a disciplinary tightrope as the football calendar gathers in momentum.
Both men have already picked up four yellow cards each in the 10 League One outings this season, and know that one more caution in the next nine games would see them suspended for one match.
In the case of Honeyman, he’s actually accumulated five bookings, but with one of those being in the Carabao Cup tie at West Ham, it’s not counted towards his league total.
The cut off point for the automatic one-game ban ends after the 19th match which would be following the Boxing Day trip to the Stadium of Light where City face Sunderland, though that could change depending on when the rearranged fixture with Accrington Stanley is scheduled.

Are they wiped clean after that one match ban? Be worth scanning the fixtures to see which game they're liable to make sure they miss an 'affordable' game so they're back for the bigger ones.

If they accumulate another 5 they get a two match ban.

Still worth taking one for the team before a less demanding game to avoid walking on his eyelashes until March in my view.

Absolutely. After Corporal Jones performance in midweek, I wouldn’t have any problems chucking him in to cover.
