TSN2 to show Wales vs England TSN press release: TSN2 hits the pitch with live coverage of UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying from Group G featuring Wales vs. England on Saturday (March 26) at 10:55 a.m. ET. The two clubs square off at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, as the home team looks to best its British neighbours in the Dragons' first game with new manager Gary Speed at the helm. C'mon England.
Can't get passionate about England since that disgrace last summer. Capello is a clown and the national side are going nowhere fast with him. I'll be at the KC watching us thrash Millwall.
i know what you mean..i havent watched an england match since the world cup, had disapointments before, but this time it was different, i was left feeling really angry for some reason...
Unless I've got my dates all wrong England play this Saturday and we play Millwall the Saturday after. I'm working both Saturdays but am knocking off early to go to the Millwall game.I've shouted my mouth off on here before about following both City and England but even I'm not arsed any more about the National team.I won't be watching the England V Wales game. The whole Terry saga has done it for me. He's an absolute **** and Ashley Cole is even worse. In fact most of the team are dicks.
Yeah you're right, I was laughing at my own stupidity at the post above. It's a good job you flagged it up otherwise I would have gone on Saturday.
I've not enjoyed watching England since I was about 10, and only then because of the (unwarranted) hype surrounding them. In fact, at times I've actually found myself willing them to lose. I can't stand international football.
I've got a room booked in a Karaoke club to watch the game(they're the only places in Hong Kong you can get away with smoking), but I hope I enjoy the game more than the last game I watched there: Sat 20th March - Portsmouth 3 - 2 City
I agree with NFUNo2 about Terry and Cole but they are only typical of many professional sports people. They're over hyped, over rated and overpaid. That's not their fault but it can create an attitude of superiority and egos that are out of control. In response to DJ and Blackandamber, I too was disgusted with our (lack of) performance last year in South Africa but as a fifty year Hull City and England supporter, I am used to disappointment Unfortunately, despite all the media hype and with the odd exception, England lacks technical ability and tactical acumen. That said, at 9.00 am (3.00 pm for you) tomorrow, we'll be in front of the TV supping Yorkshire Gold and either cheering the lads on or cursing them again. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.
Been going downhill fast since they got the SGE italian mentality .Italians are no good in the English game and some of the second rate selections leave me bewildered.
I,m also not too bothered about watching England, after all the hype before the world cup in Africa, I just dont buy it anymore.
i must be in a minority about jt...for me he is one of the few i am pleased to call english... dont give a **** about who hes shaggin..when hes on the field he would give blood for england,,.and if there were more like him, id probably be more interested..
Completely agree with dj about JT. In any other country he'd just be a footballer. Unfortunately in this cvountry even the men are starting to follow the petty 'celebtriy culture' and pretend to get real interested in footballers' private lives. The most obvious problem for me is that the players are massive rivals 99% of the time and then suddenly get herded into a 'team' for one day every year. Most of the friendlies are played by an England C team because we have so many 'injuries' and those games tend to be the only ones against decent teams. When the actual 1st team come together for qualifiers it's against Andorra, and yet everyone is real surprised when we underperform at tournaments.
What about the new Ferdinand song? His name is rio & he watches from the stand he's started crying now 'cos terry's got his band... he missed his dope test & he was rightly banned, that rio rio that is rio ferdinand
can we not talk about that game.. it still gives me the shivers.. I remember thinking to myself "in 3 mins I can pop down the pub to celebrate a well earned away win.." then the darkness descended.. probably the lowest I've ever felt after a City game..
