    Wales v Israel

European Championship Qualifying Group B Fixture

    Venue: Cardiff City Stadium

Kick Off: 5pm. Live on Sky Sports

It's the eve of possibly the end of 57 years of hurt. 1958 was the last time Wales went to a tournament and it's now in our grasp.

A win tomorrow will secure our place in France 2016, but failing a win the main objective must be not to lose and allow Israel back into the frame. They still have a chance of qualifying and are keen to spoil the Welsh party - http://www.faw.org.uk/news/ISRAEL-PLAN-ON-STOPPING-THE-WELSH-PARTY/101109/

It's all to play for. Fans going to the game have been asked to wear red, and with Israel returning a large portion of their allocation the atmosphere will be red-hot with virtually a full house of passionate Welshmen.

It's going to be tight, it's going to be tense - but I'm going for a 2-1 home win to spark a frantic surge of plane and ferry bookings for June 2016.

NB: If you're wondering why I posted on you're forum, there wasn't a Wales thread on either the Swans or Cardiff forums, so I posted on both. It's the biggest game since 1958 FFS <ok>

Well done PGF. Going to be a cracking night full of emotions. I'm sure Coleman will keep the boys focused.

For those of us who were there remember Romania and how crap we felt after that.

    It will not be repeated!!!

I hope not! Fair play to Romania, they remain the best International side I've seen (and I've seen a few). Their movement off the ball that night was outstanding and they went on to do well in the competition if my memory serves me right.

If I'm honest I'm a bit concerned for tomorrow. Missing Joe Allen and Joe Ledley our midfield may have a tougher examination than it did against Cyprus. I'm just praying that 35000 Welshmen can roar the team to victory.

Thank you for posting this PGF, I am hoping to watch the game, but live streams seem to be dieing out these days.
It should be a top night at the CCS, envious of those that will be there.

If things go to plan, it could be the greatest atmosphere at any Welsh game - ever! We've got the safety blanket of another two games to get the win, but with the impetus we have, it would be nice to do the job today.

We've all suffered in these big games over the years, with City and with Wales, but surely even we can't fail this time.

We have the luxury of another two games if we need it and of course other teams will drop points any way.

But enough of the ifs ands or buts lets do it tonight boys.

Agree PGF feel that King and Edwards are not the best replacements for Ledley and Allen. Felt they toiled more than the others in the Cyprus heat. Lucky we got the banker against Andorra then <laugh> But would be great if we did it this afternoon!

Fairplay to Israel. They came for the point, put men behind the ball and got the result they wanted. Onwards to a draw in Bosnia <ok>

Before the group started who would have thought we would take four points off Israel and Belgium.

Only need to beat Andorra now.

Disappointing not to win today, but we're as good as there. Israel didn't want to play football and we couldn't break them down. Highlight of the day: I had a cracking Clarks pie <laugh> I've always sais Ron Evans pies in Port Talbot were the best in Wales, but the fayre on offer today was outstanding!

Lack of pace out wide and throughout the team, Bale excepted, gave us little opportunity to break them down. Wing backs are great but they must attack the opposing full backs more. I thought Richards did okay but Taylor was reluctant to have a go at his opposite number until close to the end when he actually had some success.

Can't Craig Noone find a Welsh ancestor? He would get more chance with the Wales team than he does at Cardiff. <yikes>

Really enjoyed the day. The crowd did a fantastic job of getting behind the team but Israel weren't here to just roll over and I thought they did a good job in keeping Wales at bay, particularly the first half an hour when we launched a sustained assault on them. After that we seemed to tire and mistakes crept in to our play. Whether the long journey to Cyprus and back and the tough game out there played a part I dont know. What a noise when we got the ball in the net at the end, albeit short lived. That would have been a brilliant climax to the match.

Two games left to play - Bosnia will be a difficult test despite their poor tournament. They certainly looked a good well organised team when we played them at the CCS. Whatever the outcome we should wrap it up against Andorra. Just a question of first or second place between us and the Belgians, who also had a tough time out in Cyprus yesterday, making the breakthrough in the last 10 minutes
