I know he's one of the U19's quartet, but you'd have thought that Calum Chambers would surely be in the U21's by now.

 

Perhaps the u21s are well off for RBs....the need may be greater for the u19s.

Indeed it might. My knowledge of the U21's isn't too great but I believe Arsenals Karl Jenkinson would be his main rival and it can't hurt to have good competition in all positions. I think you then have people like Eric Dier who are more in the Chris Smalling mold of being better suited to centre back but can also play wider too.

Edit: Just checked and Dier is more CB/DM so maybe I am getting him mixed up with someone else!

 

Hope Les Reed is there as this is a great recruiting ground for us
