This post to be honest sticks in my throat. Wales are ridiculously short of striker options, but there is one ex man city striker, imminently to be released from prison, sureley we would not sink so low as to consider ched evans?
If we select a convicted rapist, I will never support Welsh football again. Thankfully, I don't think Coleman would select him.
He's not played competitively for 2 years...and was never "great" so ignoring the morality of picking him he doesn't deserve to even be considered until he's playing regularly in a decent league (which I can't see happening as most clubs fans wouldn't have him anyway)
Whole heartedly agree valley, maybe the other sensible option was your suggestion of ben davies on left wing, leaving us with bale as a striker, this now seems likley
I heard on the radio last night that Coleman is considering using Bale in a central striker position.
He wasnt good enough before he committed that despicable act, so no dont want him anywhere near the side. Heard on the radio that Bale will be playing up top.
How about; Taylor--------Chester---------Ash----------Ben ---------------Huws-----------Allen------------- ----------------------Ramsey------------------- Robson-Kanu-----------------------J. Williams -----------------------Bale----------------------
I know, it infuriates me. He's not been good enough for years. OR Taylor--------Chester---------Ash---------Jazz/Declan John ------------Ramsey-----------Allen------------- --------------------J. Williams------------------- Robson-Kanu-------------------------------Ben -----------------------Bale----------------------
Firstly, i think Ledley has been playing well for Palace lately? Maybe not. Secondly, I agree it would be distasteful to pick Evans. He was convicted by a jury and rape is always difficult to get home for the prosecuton so that speaks volumes. Disagreeing with that verdict is irrelevant. I do believe that generally once you've paid your debt to society then you should be a allowed to get on with your life but playing competitive sport for your country? No thanks. That said, he's not that great anyway.
