Why have a headline that reads " Swansea city Boss Micheal Laudrup leads odds to lose his job " then just one paragraph down the actual facts of the matter are " however Southamptons Nigel adkins is favourite at 9/2 " what a bunch of cardiff loving ****s !!

I know sensational headline making sells papers etc,etc but do any Jacks actually buy it ?or is the headline made to make it more appealing to cardiff supporters so they can read it and try and feel better about themselves.

I hope Micheal Laudrups performances as manager forces wales online to write positive articles every week!! it must have killed them last season to do that, the bookies(as touched upon on this forum ) tend to think we will be safe so not getting this negative article at all!!

Another point i have to make is that Article in the Gaurdian about our chances this season, what the **** is the ugly bird talking about on the VT ?? amy lawrence knows absolutly **** all about football!! listening to her trying to sound like she knows what she is talking about was awful,to top it all off she then comes out with the line "Brenden rodgers built this team ..bla bla bla" or words to that effect !! pathetic interview IMO, a real numpties guide to football teams by the look of it. I lifted this letter from a guy who was complaining about her knowledge of Baseball and Gridiron, her favorite sports i might add !!

"The main problem women in electronic sports media have is credibility with men. When a TV or radio sports chick clearly is faking it...well, it’s like their orgasms: the sensitive male can spot it a mile away. Which leaves guys with a lot of post-coital sports reportage disappointment.

Take Amy Lawrence, who I keep running into on ESPN Radio’s “GameNight,” or sometimes subbing for Bobby Valvano on his otherwise excellent weekend gig. I have hated her from the very first moment I heard her faked, overenthusiastic voice come over my car radio spewing all kinds of canned knowledge which clearly revealed that she doesn’t know squat about sports. Well, I take that back: She apparently knows how to regurgitate phrases, words, and jock names that make it SOUND like she knows about sports. And she desperately puts it all out in this awful screeching voice that makes me feel like I’m listening to an obnoxious high schooler who is desperate to have someone notice her. “Hey guys, look at me!!!” Amy seems to say. Er, shout. “Look at me!!! I know a lot about sports!!!” hollers Lawrence, hammering syllables with odd and/or overemphasized inflections. Her tonal quality is wholly unpleasant, too. Get thee to a broadcasting school, Amy.

Think this dude got it spot on !!

Looks like to me, we are to be underated and not taken serious yet again this season, that could well be the best thing for us, we are crap as favourites but always do well when we are the underdog, all the media faff is soon over and the proof of the pudding is in the eating!!

    Moan over !! <ok>

Liverpool fans about mid-May next year, when they've heard the word "fanastic" for the billionth time, and can't figure out why they're looking up at us in the table looking down at them while counting the remainder of the 22M after picking up Pablo who stuffed them for three goals in two games. <laugh>

Liverpool could do well under rodgers if they navigate their difficult start.

Yankee- you forgot to mention the rest of his punchline "fantastic...group of players"

the "group" is a common one as well..<laugh>

Not sure he will be allowed to say " he is a top 4 player" most Liverpool fans think they are that anyway...<laugh>

Norway, walesonline is a more biased platform than a jhughs post.

I don't waste any time seeking either out.

Hope you are feeling better now.

An occasional 606 moan/rant is therapeutic, and it gives the wife a break. ...

    i feel alot better Vetch..<laugh>

Its fair to say that we probably get more favourable media attentiion outside of wales than inside, just really looking forward to this season now, so looking at all the media stories in the build up to kick off, gutted i will be working when the QPR game is on but i will watch it on delayed feed later(easier to avoid the scores in Norway) its going to be intresting to say the least!!

Within Wales, presswise at least, we always seem to be regarded as the second team, regardless of league positions.

The capital city has to be seen to justify the label.

It has always been this way.

The more success Swansea City have, the more egg on their faces.

Hopefully, they'll be sick of eating omelettes come next May.

I'm getting a bit nervous now,and we need a good start to give the fans, players and management some belief and encouragement for the long slog to come.

You could always follow my rule Norway. Very simple, don't even look at anything written by the gutter press based in Cardiff.

You, I and the rest of the UK know that we are Premier League and it is killing them.

Isnt that what you and KJ spend most of your time doing ??

Fair enough, if that was your version of what an apology is supposed to look like.
