Have they thinned out their reporter numbers? I think Nin commented on Glen's absence a week or 2 ago. I know their player ratings are often laughable and we sometimes question if they saw the same game as us but despite my trawlings I can't find any ratings for last Saturday and the game comments came from the "Press Association" Anyone know anything?
No is the short answer Bluey - not heard or seen anything. Glen's last effort I can find was an article about Karlan Grant on the 3rd November, so not that long ago although it may have been written earlier as it's not particularly time specific. Perhaps Tan was unhappy with them and bought Wol out.................
This is all I could find from them regarding the Stoke game. I guess you've already seen it but just in case. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-citys-erol-bulut-really-28046908
It’s a different world now from the era of the likes of Karl Woodward, Joe Lovejoy & Peter Jackson.
Hmm, perfect timing.... Article from Glen today! https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar Seems almost too perfectly timed though, maybe we need to call in Scooby Doo??
Still no player ratings from last Saturday. Are they cost cutting and not sending journos to away games? I'm sure jck would give Ubgo a 10 even though he didn't get off the bench.
Some of the writing is questionable, as are the tenuous links between story lines and sport. The worse thing is the WoL website on my phone. Crashes several times before I can finish an article, text jumps about so you end up clicking links / adverts you didn't intend to, a right pain in the @r$e.
They are heavily pushing their online newsletter and app. Doing away with individual reporters altogether and relying on fans' contributions for stories? Probably more accurate than reporters anyway.
