As long as we don't play Scotland at CCS. More Scots than Welsh would have 'home' advantage :)

Well, we cartainly can't moan this time. This may be an opportunity for Speed's young guns to do a job and get us that once in a lifetime spot on the world stage. . . still, I've been saying that for over forty years.:emoticon-0120-doh:

Good draw for us I reckon, potentially we take points off all these teams. Personally I fancy the trip to Macedonia. Wouldn't mind going to that part of the world.
Sorry for polluting the thread Aber <sorry>

I quite fancy the trip up to Hampden...1 hour flight time (ish) and usually a good craic up in Scotland :)

The Faroe Islands have done us a bit if a favour by swapping pots with us...I don't fancy their group very much at all!!!

Seriously, this is the best opportunity we have had in my living memory. If Speed doesn't get us through this group then he'll have to go.
From what i have seen on the TV he's a nice guy but I do not think he's an international manager.

for me the only winnable games there are macedonia and possibly scotland. remember serbia have players like vidic, krasic, kolarov, stankovic etc, while belgium have kompany, vermaelen, lukaku and hazard. its a difficult group which ever way you look at it. yes we've missed out on a spain or germany but the lesser teams in this group are strong.

    tough task ahead <ok>

We will not qualify from this group but it is a chance to pick up some much needed ranking points
