It a universe where rampant speculation is the truth, where hack journos are revered as philosopher-kings, and where Alan Brazil reports actual news.
<laugh>

Ok I will just stick to the smoking then.

It's probably full of Jehova's Witnesses as well. <yikes>

Sorry! But have I suddenly walked into a parallel universe, where Walnut is suddenly a great player instead of a headless chicken,

In short, and to summarise, this story is complete and utter bollocks.

Arsenal 5 -2 Spurs

Sagna 40′van Persie 43′Rosicky 51′Walcott 65′, 68

some headless chicken eh ?

you are really are stupid HIAG .

I strongly disagree. Ask yourself this - if you were a defender, who would you prefer to play against, Walcott or Lennon ?? Surely it has to be the predictable Walcott ??

Personally I feel that a new manager might invigorate Lennon for the new season. I was never convinced Harry rated Lennon that highly, and if Lennon is fully fit and raring to go and senses the new guy has faith in him, then he will be one heck of an asset to us. Far more so than Walcott would be imo.

I do agree with that, which oddly makes me unsure for debates sake about not signing him. I have always believed he has been played out of position, the player himself saying just that... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...is-best-position-and-its-not-on-the-wing.html ..., so have we seen the best of Walcott? Henry started as a so so winger, not saying he's the next by any stretch, because his finishing does need work, some of it awful, but a similar player. Lets be fair to the lad he's scored some crackers and more of them than Lennon. I think there's something in there used correctly, his reputation for pace terrifies defenders anyway, and his energy will suit a high up the pitch pressing game that looks like its coming this way! <whistle>

I do agree with everyones reservations as a winger, but he's an unknown quantity as a 2nd striker....and any forwards we get do get, need to be quick to keep up with Bale! :D

<ok>

Great! Walnut has one great game (no doubt, inspired by the fear of defeat at the hands of the mighty Spur juggernaut, at a time just before our wheels came off), and then he goes back to midfield anonymity.

What's your point, exactly?

Why are Spurs being linked with players when the club has no manager?

Heaven help the new manager if he finishes up with a load of players he doesn't want or can't work with. It would be like groundhog day for AVB!

No announced Manager Luke, there is a difference.

Anything to piss the Goons off..and yes we havent seen AVB with a Spurs scarf infront of the WHL dugout...but i think its almost odds on that it will be him....im willing to wager my last Rolo on it.

and as Spurf points out once again..there is a diffrence between no manager and an announced manager....yet im surprised many cant tell that someone is working with Levy here...and it isnt God.

Would this be the same WALCOTT that the gooner fans were booing before half time?
for what it's worth this story is in the Express....they've obviously run out of Princess Diana stories
