So Sven says he would be happy with our forward line, if this is the case then he will be out of a job by Christmas and we´ll be playing catch up again. By taking King and Gallagher out of the team you have lost a third of last seasons goal and replaced with nothing. Our strikers are just not good enough. And we need some width rather than having 4 central midfielder playing at anyone one time...wakey wakey Sven!
We are playing with 4 centre mids at the minute (Abe, Danns, Fernandes and Wellens). Abe needs to drop out bring in Gallagher. I think we need 2 new strikers. 1 who can get around 10 goals and one who can get 20+ goals.
Agreed proud, specially about the strikers, but we're fast running out of options, and will soon be left with the dreggs nobody wants if were not careful, unless Sven pulls a loan signing out of the hat, im afraid with the forward line we have, we could be firing blanks all season.............
I'm sure Sven isn't happy with our strikeforce, it has a midfielder and an 18 year old with one Championship appearance in there at the moment. If he's said that it's because he doesn't want to shatter their confidence. I think... As you say sandi the worrying thing is that we haven't got our first 47 targets and now we are struggling unless we make one last crazy bid for someone. But it's become more and more obvious that we don't only need a striker but a winger equally as much.
