Bloody short timescale - invites today, meeting Thursday.

Smacks a bit of desperation - or not allowing anyone long enough to prepare properly.

Can't wait for my invite. Lol!!!!

P.S. Bet the invites are sent second class.

The club should state up front who will be invited and why.

It can't be a bad thing that a meeting has been called but who are the so called cross section of supporters who will be in attendance is the important question? I wonder if anyone on here will be invited?

sparks never trust a plumber, he`s more likely 2 service the misses rather than the old boiler>>>>>>>or they both two of the same anyway :emoticon-0126-nerd:

aber - I've been down the plumber road as well mate with my own Corgi cert to go with my niceic reg back in the 90's when everything was simple. It was the time of mech/elec combo companies that offered "one-stop shopping" for developers.

Then the PC brigade got hold of the gas regulations and you had go back to Tech for two years before you could touch a bloody spanner.

I sent my my guys on the courses to get all the elements under our belt but it was getting so silly I ditched it. Subbed out the gas side of it stuck to the plumbing where you only need to do the job properly and not have a piece of paper that says you can.

Another reason was that you're less likely to drown someone than gas them.<laugh> Out of it all now so fck 'em. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Back to the plot - I just wonder if Tan is trying to pull this all back together for his own reasons rather than ours.

I don't think you need to read between the lines.

The statement says "the fans are one of the biggest assets"

The business man is attempt to stop an asset depreciating at the alarming rate it currently is. What will be interesting is when the fans turn up and say "we're fed up of **** football and want to play in Blue" what the response will be?
There's no way Tan is changing back to blue imo, what would also be interesting is how long the honeymoon would last if he did change the shirts. We'd still be ****, still have a poorly balanced squad with a worse than average manager. The results may improve in a way similar to when Slade came in but ultimately we'd probably fade back to low mid table. How long before the realisation that a huge amount of the discontent was actually due to the **** on the pitch?

By the way Sparks there is so much wrong with this picture - the H&S brigade will have a field day with it .......Nobody holding the ladder for starters (I want that job - probably with both hands and my face :emoticon-0141-whew: )

I have been reading from the sidelines for pretty much all the saeson so far. I haven't felt inclined to post as I am too far removed to comment on players as I rarely see them live. I was at the Huddersfield game and loved every minute but since then only video footage.
The appointment of Slade, the standard of players he's looking at buying in the transfer window and VT deciding to have this meeting. I still think Slade was brought in by VT as a stop gap. I can't believe Slade is the man VT thinks can drive us forward and get us back into the premiership. I still think Samhas VTs ear. The club is a comedy of errors at the moment and doesn't seem to be improving. Just had to get it off my chest.

I'm not sure SirPhylis would be up to it, but Dai would tie Dalman and Choo in knots with his knowledge of the club.
