SL will not sign dave jones or billy davies, no cheque book charlies at ashton gate, they lead lives that are much too comfortable. We need a young manager who will bust a gut to succeed, someone who will put in the midnight oil but more importantly will motivate not only the players but supporters as well. Millens problem was that he was a downer, talked the team down, the display down and by his lack of emotion on the touchline brought the supporters down. Mcinnes, Clark or Robins for me.
As for all you guys calling for an experienced championship manager - you can keep them, give me drive, determination, passion and emotion, thats what we want and thats what we want from the players. Millens lack of passion and emotion showed by the performances on the pitch. Come on!!!

thats just your opinion tbh im sure cop out wouldn't of came here if he didn't think that money would be here, people need to get out there heads of " were not that rich" as not one soul on this board have a clue about the money what gets spent and money that comes in, it does my head in when people think they know, and all ive heard from lansdown when he was chairmen and now sexstone is that when a manager wants a player the board will support him and do all they can to get him

It's nothing to do with busting a gut, it's getting the best out of your players, tactics, formations, playing players in the right positions, the right subs and when to bring them on. But most of all, it's about changing things early when things arn't going well.........All these things Millen FAILED to do.

As for Cheque Book Charlies, Failure to secure a place in the Championship will cost the club millions, will ensure gates to drop and will be the end of Stadium plans...... which in turn will cost the club.
It's not the case that they are cheque book charlies but managers whom have the experience to get us out of this mess.

bcf...most of "known" and touted managers on here are tired failures, we've had some good fellow countrymen from North of the border,do us well in the past, maybe a scots manager from the scots first division high flyers would be ideal??? derek adams?? steven pressley
